Never give-Up

Have you ever felt like the world has turned its back against you, as if those who do 9-5 are the most blessed people, you need to review your plans because time is passing you by, your peers are buying and changing cars and houses, a lot of them going for holidays and you don't have money for the offering basket?

Don't give up, the world has its own system and you are one of the few working against it. remember that the only thing you were taught at school was to do a colourful CV not a business plan or proposal, frustration is bound to be at its best because you are trying something that is not on your system, its driving an tiptronic when you are used to driving a manual pedal shift car, you cant help edge of wanting to use both feets and changing gears.

The write of the book of Ecclesiastes articulates it clearly in chapter 9:11
" The race is not to the swift or battle to the strong,
 nor does food comes to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favour to the learned;
but time and chance happen to the all".

A chance may happen to a 9-5 person but he will hardly embrace it, unlike you, the chance is what you have been waiting for, and when it happens, those who don't know your struggle, call you lucky not knowing how far behind you come from in life.

I will always look for an opportunity to be generous in my quest to find fortunes.
I will do my best in the small opportunities I am getting now.
I have a social responsibility and I am not going to turn my back on it.
I am teaching my children to look for opportunities to be employers than to be employed.

I wont give-Up, please do not.............

Change comes at a price, are you willing to pay it?

The Eagle has landed

The eagle has the longest life-span among birds (Even human beings)
It can live up to 70 years, but to reach that age the eagle must make a hard decision.
In its 40’s, its long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey which serves as food.
Its long and sharp beak becomes bent.
Its old-age and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, becomes stuck to its chest and makes it difficult to fly.
Then, the eagle is left with only two options: die or go through a painful process of change which lasts 150 days.
The process requires that the eagle fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest.
There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out.
After plucking it out, the eagle will wait for a new beak to grow back and then it will pluck out its talons by scratching them on the rock.
When the talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old-aged feathers.
And after five months, the eagle takes its famous flights of rebirth and lives for 30 more years.
When it rains, most of the birds head for shelter; the eagle is the only bird that, in order to avoid rain, starts flying above the clouds.
Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope/ trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will sour on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Destiny awaits a made-up mind

This is not for everybody, but I am sure it is for somebody in this room. The person sitting next to you, behind you or in front of you.
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 22: 6 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it”

As People we fall at times and we fall in different ways, a running man can fall and before you know it he is up and dusting himself while running again. A shy lady can fall and stay there covering her eyes until somebody help her up, someone else may fall and take her time to stand and refuse to be assisted up. Falling is never an issue, how you get up, and how long it takes you might be. Some people fall and get dizzy, making them stand the soonest might be detrimental as they can fall harder the second time around.

In life we fall in so many ways and we represent the above mentioned characters. It is important to understand what makes us fall, is it the shoes we wearing, the surface, weather condition, a simple trap or our own carelessness.

1.       Weather condition represents something that you don’t have control over, family issues, separation, financial difficulty, relocation, etc.

2.         The shoes represent the company you keep; some of us are better off without friends because we never influence anyone, however we take every garbage others feed us. We have become so fake for us to be accepted by the people we call friends, who are we when nobody sees us?

3.         The surface represent the places we frequent or visit, you will never have been in the situation you are in now had you not gone where you went. Ngabe awudubulekanga(Never got shot), awugwazekanga(Never stabbed), awukhulelwanga (did not get pregnant) above all awufeyilanga(Never failed).

4.         The last one(carelessness) represents the things that we have been warned about before, like going at night, drinking alcohol as a young person. I believe this is a warning for somebody today. Somebody who wish that I came yesterday, last week, last month or even last year or they would not be in a situation they are in now.

It is not about the audience but you, you need to get the balance and stand, if you need help, signal someone, because the road does not become shorter just because you have fallen, you still need to complete the remaining part of the journey.

Why do you guys behaves like you come from the same background and family? Your friends parents can afford him or her anything, their lunch-box is colourful, and on the other hand you know the situation at home is not well. You are the hope of the family and yet you are so blinded by temporally things. Some one here had yesterday’s food for breakfast today, because things are really bad, that should be a motivation to say one day I will afford everything I cannot today. Sleeping with a sugar daddy or mommy will not solve your challenge, but make it worse with pregnancy, HIV and AIDS and poverty.

Talking about poverty, it does not begin when one looks for work and there is none that matches his or her profile. Poverty is like building a house, it has all the steps you take when building, the foundation, windows and the roof. You guys are at the foundation of the poverty stage, it is up to you to continue building on it or destroy it by choosing to focus on building your future to be better than your parents.

Most of us have fallen because our families are not where we would like to see them, we need to stand as young as we are and do the right thing that leads to success. Do not look down upon yourselves, humble beginnings build character and confidence.

Every big tree you see today was just a bud one day.

Every uncontrollable veld fire normally start with just a small spark

Every flood start with one rain drop, something small, insignificant, could not even penetrate the earth but together they cause so much damage.

How can you get back on track of your life?

1.       Act your age, don’t skip stages in life.

2.       Respect your teachers and other learners.

3.       Have a plan for your life, and put it where you can see it every day.

4.       Manage your time wisely. You will never be young forever.

5.       Listen more and talk less.

Like I said, it is not about the audience, but you getting where you suppose to go on time.
